Andrew Lee (he/they)
President (hkandrewlee at stanford.edu)
I'm Andrew, and I'm a senior studying math with minors in dance and philosophy, aspiring to work in math academia. I'm interested in geometry and topology (i.e., things you can draw), but I also love learning about the analytic and algebraic tools that mathematicians have developed to think about geometry and topology. I've previously served as SUMO's financial officer as a sophomore, and I'm excited to return for my second year of being both a math peer advisor and SUMO's president. I believe that everyone is capable of having joyful, meaningful, and empowering experiences with mathematics (see Ardila's four axioms), and I'm really passionate about cultivating a space within the student math community at Stanford for folks of all sorts of backgrounds to gather and learn from one another.

Aaryan Sukhadia (any/all)
Speaker Series Coordinator (aaryan11 at stanford.edu)
Hey there, I'm Aaryan, a senior math major and wannabe professor, writer and communicator of math. I mostly yap about number theory, algebraic geometry and combinatorics, so to shut me up and give other people a chance to talk I was made Speaker Series Coordinator. When I'm not mathing I like doodling, writing short stories, playing video games and rewatching sitcoms for the n-th time.
Sophia Wei (she/her)

Kae Heller (they/them)
Graphics and Design (kaeheller at stanford.edu)
Wassup, I'm Kae and I am a sophomore studying physics and math, potentially an art practice minor. I secretly designed all of SUMO's merch last year and now I am one of official graphic designers! I am really into non-linear dynamics and chaos theory, information theory, graphic novels, reading, oil painting, photography, crochet, and grapes.
Paul Gontard (he/him)
DEI Coordinator + Graphics (pgontard at stanford.edu)
Hello there, my name is Paul and I am a second-year studying physics and math (while attempting to encompass myriad other interests into minors in translation studies and art practice). Sabas Perez (he/him)
Reading Group Coordinator (sabas27 at stanford.edu)
Hello! My name is Sabas and I'm a FGLI student from Compton, CA planning on studying Math with a minor in CS! I am passionate about exploring applications of math to the real world. I am strongly motivated by the structural inequities in the US education system that prevents students from pursuing math as a field of study. For the 2024-2025 academic year, I am serving SUMO as Reading Group Coordinator. Do not hesitate to reach out for anything :)
